“Precast Services did an excellent job erecting our
precast parking garage. They coordinated well during pre construction, worked safely, and completed the garage ahead of schedule. We look forward to working with them in the future”
– Avalon Bay Construction Manager
Our team was responsible for constructing a three-level parking garage consisting of 232 precast members at a busy job site in Roseland, New Jersey. This project was a critical component of a larger apartment complex, requiring precise coordination with multiple trades working on various aspects of the overall construction.
The unique “wrapped” design of the apartment complex raised several challenges, as the parking garage acted as the mainframe for the surrounding buildings. The complexity of the project was increased by the presence of numerous trades operating simultaneously, each focused on different scopes of the project. Effective coordination was crucial, as our team needed to navigate around other trades while maintaining steady progress.
Our ability to adapt on the fly to the busy nature of the site, along with the meticulous planning and coordination during the construction process, allowed us to complete the garage safely and ahead of schedule. This approach ensured that the project remained on track, despite the challenges we faced.
Teamwork and safety were integral to the project’s success. Our crew worked hand-in-hand with the other contractors to maintain open communication and collaboration throughout the project. The project partners included:
The strong collaboration between all partners allowed us to meet and even exceed expectations.
