Precast Services Inc. was once again trusted by Unistress Corp and the City of Binghamton, NY, to execute the precast assembly for a new five-level parking garage in downtown Binghamton. This 505-piece precast structure, located on Water Street, is part of a critical infrastructure upgrade, replacing the previous parking garage that served the city for over 50 years.
The $25 million parking garage project presented unique challenges, particularly due to limited space in downtown Binghamton. The final phases of precast erection and crane disassembly required precision planning and execution, as the work was carried out on Water Street with a partial lane closure.
